Stop! Before you hire these plumbers from elite plumbing make sure you know what you’re paying for. On Friday, they came over to my house because I had a leak to the main waterline to my house. The water company notified me and told me I had a leak. Once the leak was found, everything was dug out, cleaned out ready for the plumber to come and repair it. I usually do a lot of my home repairs. this time, I needed somebody that could sweat a pipe and connect PVC. Like I said, the pipe was exposed, and the digging in all the hard part was already done. I went and got all the parts and the pipes needed to fix it. I reached out to elite plumbing. They were professional and called me back and told me they would be there between a certain time. Which they did. When they arrive, two trucks showed up. I was surprised after explaining to them that I just needed to have a pipe repaired. Easy enough I thought. They show up in their fancy suits and tell me that they have to assess the situation. It took two guys to come up with a solution. I told them that everything was ready to go, and they could just bypass and connect to the other pipe. I was surprised that it took two guys and two trucks to come over and just fix a leak. Before they did the work, they called their boss to get a quote. They were going to charge me $1158 to fix the small leak. I said could you repeat that? They did and they told me that’s how much it was. I’ve never been so insulted in my life. This probably would’ve been fixed within an hour. Then, they said well maybe we could reduce the price. They asked me what I thought was a fair price. I’d be willing to pay $400 just to have this leak fixed because my tenants needed the water as well. they knew I was in a predicament and just needed to get this fixed as soon as possible.. I contacted the company and tried to talk to the owner. Of course, they are never available. I just wanted to put that out in the community to steer clear from these big box plumbing companies. They really will take advantage of You and squeeze everything out of you because you don’t know the procedure. For them, it was unfortunate because I knew how to fix this. They picked the wrong person on the wrong day. Please use smaller companies with people that work by the hour. There’s a lot of good plumbers that do that. Lotta good plumbers that are still honest. Find them before you actually need them.

I was initially disappointed with Elite's 1st attempt at clearing a clogged toilet. Called them back and was very pleased with their prompt and courteous response. Martin did an amazing job cleaning out a drainage line. I was able to get an appointment same day within a couple hours of calling in. There were some large obstructions (kids toys) in a 4-in landscape drainage line, but he was persistent and made sure everything was cleared out. I'll be using Elite Rooter in the future and would definitely recommend their services.
